This error occurs when our program's can not reach out to our server to verify your activation.
We recommend that you contact your IT Department and request that they add an exception to your firewall to allow the our programs to reach out to both '1099express.com' and 'secure.1099express.com' on port 443. This change should allow your program to do the Automatic Activation.
If your IT can not add this exception to your firewall, then you will need to go through the Manual Activation process. You can find more information on this process in the Manual Activation documentation.
